Spread over an area of 64 acres, the sprawling gardens at Victoria memorial were designed by Lord Redesdale and Sir David Prain in Calcutta in the British era. The gardens are a favourite for enjoying fresh air for the residents of Calcutta (now Kolkata) in West Bengal, India.
